A £150,000 abstract sculpture, described as the worst ever created, was created without planning permission.
A faceless statue of Prince Philip, once described by a council planner as “possibly the lowest quality work” ever submitted, will be removed years after it was built without planning permission.
The 4-metre-tall bronze statue outside a Cambridge office building depicts the late Queen's husband wearing an academic robe and an abstract face resembling a contorted owl mask.
