On Friday, Nicholas Prange, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Fire Department, reported that a firefighter was transported to a hospital in fair condition due to unspecified injuries, while another individual from the residence experienced minor smoke inhalation.
Cara Delevingne posted multiple Instagram stories that appeared to allude to the fire, following TMZ's report that she was the owner of the residence in the Studio City area that was consumed by flames in the early morning hours.
Upon arrival at the two-story residence, the firefighters discovered a substantial blaze at the back of the house. This inferno not only ravaged a room but also extended its destructive reach to the attic, as stated by Mr. Prange.
After ensuring that all occupants had evacuated the premises, the fire crews assumed a defensive stance as the roof eventually caved in. Extinguishing the flames required over two hours of relentless effort.
Delevingne later posted a video depicting a street lined with fire trucks, their lights flashing.
Another Instagram story expressed gratitude to all the firefighters and individuals who have come forward to offer their assistance, and I am sincerely thankful to each and every one of them.
Another Instagram story displayed a picture of two cats along with the message, "Today my heart is shattered, it's hard to fathom how quickly life can take a turn. Appreciate the present moment."
In a subsequent Instagram story, she provided further clarification that the cats were indeed alive.
Cara Delevingne's representatives have yet to provide a response to the emails requesting a comment.
The investigation was underway to determine the cause of the fire.
Delevingne's residence, which includes unique elements like a ball pit and an unconventional tunnel, was showcased in Architectural Digest in the year 2021.
"When my friends visit, the house transforms into a challenging maze. It resembles a combination of an indoor and outdoor playground inspired by Alice in Wonderland," Delevingne mentioned during that period."
